I believe that good design anticipates a user’s needs in a way that can make everyday experiences feel effortless. Good design is my way of taking care of others.

Prior to discovering UX,

I earned my degree in chemical & biological engineering from Princeton University and got a dream job at a biotech startup developing cutting-edge cancer therapies. My job was to help improve the therapy manufacturing process.

However, I quickly discovered I was even more passionate about improving a different set of processes: the ones that people navigate to accomplish their goals. A few workshops and a handful of blog posts later, I discovered the name for my new passion: UX design!

In many ways, I’m still a process engineer at heart.

I’m all about making sense of complex processes, thoughtfully analyzing data, and identifying which elements truly matter to create better experiences. I love taking design projects from start to finish and I’m used to wearing multiple hats in order to do so.

When I’m not designing and problem solving, you can find me learning Mandarin Chinese, thinking about sustainable fashion, redecorating my home, or spoiling my two cats.
